PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., one of the nation’s largest wholesale distributors of building supply products is seeking a Rebate Accounting Manager in the Irving, Texas location.
Lead and direct Customer and Vendor Rebate Accounting. This includes supervision of subordinates, ensuring timely and accurate rebate related reporting in accordance with GAAP and respective financial close deadlines, along with a continuous focus on process improvement and efficiency in day to day processes. Communicate with company stakeholders and define effective processes surrounding rebate programs. Assist VP/Controller, Assistant Controller, and other members of the Accounting Team with projects and tasks as needed.
Flexible starting times between 7AM and 9AM

Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have above average proficiency of excel, Microsoft Office, experience in SAP and Vistex, or other rebate management tools, is preferred.
Certifications & Licenses: Masters or CPA preferred
Other Requirements: Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages and financial analysis ratio's. Financial modeling experience is required. Valid Driver’s License and Current Passport.
