PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., one of the nations largest wholesale distributors of building supply products has an immediate opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in our Chicago, IL distribution center.


Our company is seeking an Administrative Assistant to manage the office, support the Sales team and handle administrative duties for management. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while staying organized and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good communicator and organized. Having working knowledge of SAP experience is the key to success in this position.



FT - 40 hour work week, M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm 

PLUS complete benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, 401K with company match), Holiday pay and PTO.

Based in our Chicago office, this position will report to the Distribution Center Manager (DCM) and assist the DCM and Sales Manager with general clerical duties.


Additional responsibilities include: answering incoming calls, helping Inside Sales team with answering phones, writing Credit, entering Sales orders and processing Returns in SAP, generating reports, maintain office supplies by checking inventory and order items, order entry backup, scanning documents daily, general filing and other duties a assigned.


Successful candidates will possess at least one to three years of general clerical experience in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for self-starters with excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong proficiency in Excel and Word is a must.
