PRIMESOURCE Building Products International, Inc., one of the nations largest wholesale distributors of building supply products has an immediate opportunity for an Import Logistics Coordinator.
This position will be located in Valhalla, New York
This individual will handle all aspects of importations of purchase orders.
Responsibilities include the following. Additional duties may be assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to operate in; Internet software; Inventory software; Import databases, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. SAP knowledge a plus.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Advanced Excel skills required. Access, Photoshop.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
Qualified candidates must be self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task and be willing to work as part of a team. Requires professional and confident telephone skills as well as proficient computer skills ideal candidate would have some knowledge of the building material industry.
