    PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of building supply products, is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to service the Western TN and Northern Mississippi area(s).   To support the client base effectively, the ideal candidate will need to reside in Memphis TN or Jackson TN.

     

    The Territory Manager is responsible for driving the sales performance of the organization's products within a specific division. This position sells the company's products and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services that meet their needs, resulting in revenue generation. In addition, the Territory Manager provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services. 

     

     

    Knowledge of SAP & CRM experience is helpful

     

    Base pay plus, commission and opportunity for quarterly bonus. PLUS complete benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, 401K with company match), Holiday pay and PTO.  

     

    Laptop, cell phone, and generous monthly car allowance 

     

    Building Industry, construction and/or home improvement industry experience, a plus

     

    100% travel, Face to Face customer interaction

     

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborates the development and implementation of sales plans to achieve corporate goals
    • Develop sales forecasting and set performance goals accordingly
    • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product
    • Deliver sales presentations to key clients
    • Meet with key clients, maintaining relationships to aid in negotiations and closing deals
    • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
    • Extensive ground travel within territory, 70% – 85%
    • Assist in the formulation and the delivery of sales training materials and efforts
    • Utilization of CRM to assist with the selling process 

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

     

    • Experience as an Outside Sales Rep selling building materials to large regional Lumber yards, Concrete supply houses, Roofing Supply houses, Dry Wall supply houses, large regional Home Builders, Construction Contractors, and large regional Home Centers, is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
    • One or more years of experience as an Outside Sales Rep, driving in a car to make 6+ in-person sales meetings on site at customers every day is HIGHLY PREFERRED. Inside sales experience of related products selling into similar customers will be considered as well.
    • Experience using a Sales Tracking Software/CRM on a daily basis when making sales calls is greatly preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong preference for college degree (High School diploma required).

      • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
      • Driven and results oriented; drives business development, KPIs, and market expansion to meet corporate targets
      • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of building materials industry
    • Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization and customer operations

    Ideal Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Administration or Sales Management
