    PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager of Pricing & Analytics Analyst in our Irving, Texas corporate office.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Pricing Director, the Pricing Analytics Manager will have responsibility for connecting, compiling, manipulating, and analyzing data that will identify and execute pricing and profitability opportunities across our product and customer portfolios. The primary responsibilities of this role are to: 

    1. Create, maintain, and improve processes that support the pricing team through technology solutions such as SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau.
    2. Support pricing team and internal partners through analytics, error resolution, and execution of company pricing initiatives.

    The Pricing Manager will have the ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering results in a timely manner. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical, as is the ability to successfully achieve set deadlines. Strong problem solving skills are required, as is a high level of technical understanding dealing with complex data systems and processes.

     

    Duties are the following. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

    • (30%) Support pricing process through SAP, SQL, Alteryx. Understanding of connectivity to server environments ideal.
    • (30%) Effectively leads and supports pricing team initiatives and strategy.
    • (30%) Support special projects upon request, including financial modeling, strategic initiatives, and systems implementation.
    • (10%) Continual development of reporting structures in Tableau and other delivery methods.

    Qualifications

    Education:

     

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related disciplines. Master’s degree (MBA or MS) preferred.

     

    Experience:

     

    Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Computer Skills:

    • Working knowledge of coding in SQL or other language preferred
    • Understanding of connectivity to server environments
    • Proficiency in Excel and VBA
    • Tableau, Alteryx
    • Microsoft
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint

    Other Requirements:

     

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with quantitative, organizational, and analytical skills.
