Warehouse Supervisor- (2018-11890) - DFW Airport
PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of building supply products is seeking a reliable, hard working Warehouse Supervisor in our Dallas, TX location located near the DFW Airport area.
Full-time 40/hr week PLUS complete benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, 401K with company match), Holiday pay and PTO
Monday-Friday: 10:00AM - 7:00PM (until the work is done), 1 hour lunch
Looking for candidates with Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), distribution with some logistics experience and Building Supply knowledge ans SAP experience is a Plus!
This position assists and coordinates activities of warehouse workers engaged in receiving and distributing building material products by performing the following duties. Assist the Operations Manager (Ops Mgr.) in supervising all 24 employees in the Warehouse and carrying out Shipping and Receiving duties and inventory control. This role will be back for Ops Mgr in their absence. Carries out some supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.

We are seeking candidates with 2 year degree preferred or at least 5 years of Warehouse Supervisory experience. Logistic background is a plus. 2-3 years of forklift and order picker experience, a plus. 50 lb minimum lifting requirement. Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word processing software is preferred. SAP experience is helpful. Building materials background preferred but not required.
