    Inside Sales Supervisor, Stokesdale, NC (2018-11863)

     

    PrimeSource Building Products Inc., one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of building supply products, has an immediate opportunity for an Inside Sales Supervisor in our Stokesdale, NC distribution center.  This facility is 140,000 square feet and is open from 7AM to 5PM.  

     

    This position will be responsible for leading a team of 4 Inside Sales Representatives (ISR's) and working cooperatively with our Territory Managers, Product Mangement Teams and other internal groups to identify and develop new customer opportunities, while maintaining and increasing sales to our existing customers.  You are responsible for also providing guidance and real-time coaching for the team.

     

    Looking for someone that has experience leading a team of inside sales professionals and preferably in the building supply or similar industry.

    Responsibilities

    Some responsibilities include the following. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

     

    • Mentors and develop ISRs.
    • Directs customer responsibility.
    • Troubleshoot issues.
    • Inbound and Outbound calls.
    • Reviews and Resolves escalated customer issues.
    • Oversees training and development for ISRs.
    • Particpates in hiring process.
    • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, bingos, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources. 
    • Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services. 
    • Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales and enters orders into software system. Monitors product prices with current market levels. 
    • Provides product demos to qualified customers on request and manager approval. 
    • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained. Maintain back order file if necessary. 
    • Tracks stock levels. 
    • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries. 
    • May be required to travel to trade shows or company training or events.  
    • Performs store resets and inventories once every three to six months.  
    • Responsible for understanding customer credit details and tendencies. 

     

    Qualifications

    Education

     

    Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

     

    Computer Skills

     

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge and understanding of CRM systems, Company Reporting Software, Internet Software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software. SAP a huge plus! 

     

     

    Certifications & Licenses

    Valid driver's license and current insurance.

     

     

    Other

     

    Qualified candidates must be self-motivated, quota driven and be willing to work as part of a sales team. Requires professional and confident telephone skills. Any experience in the building materials industry is a big plus!
