    Territory Sales Manager - Northern MA and Southern NH Area - (2018-11612)


    PrimeSource Building Products, Inc. is has an immediate opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager near Boston, Massachusetts.  Geographic territory includes Northeastern, Massachusetts and Southeastern, New Hampshire.


    In this role, the Territory Manager will report to the Sales Manager and conduct all sales calls in a 2 step distribution model.  The Territory Manager will cultivate and build relationships with major and independent lumber yards in addition to growing existing accounts and developing new.  The Territory Manager will work with the Sales Manager to create a sales plan for the assigned territory that will meet or exceed sales goals.


    • Manage sales accounts and relationship within the assigned territory to ensure operations are running smoothly and target goals and revenues are met.
    • Create and maintain a sales plan for the assigned territory that meets or exceeds sales and margin budgets/goals.
    • Meet with customers on a regular basis to develop rapport and better understand their business needs.
    • Proactively study the competition to identify, isolate, and implement new programs including add on sale opportunities.
    • Educate the client on the value of PrimeSource Building Product programs and offers.
    • Communicate deliveries to clients allowing for opportunities to provide additional customer service or upsell product.
    • Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly and annual sales reports
    • Attend monthly sales meetings and regularly scheduled team calls
    • Increase new accounts through non-traditional methods including “like suppliers” in the plumbing or electrical industries.


    • High School diploma required.
    • Proven track record in managing a sales territory and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
    • Sales experience in a 2 step distribution model highly preferred.
    • Experience in selling building materials preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • CRM experience preferred.
